Disaster Preparedness Grant for the Marinwood Community
The Marinwood Community Services District received a $5000 dollar grant from the County of Marin towards disaster preparedness. Board Member Bruce Anderson and Fire Chief Tom Roach applied for the grant with help from Supervisor Susan Adams. Supervisor Adams was instrumental in securing the funds for the Marinwood Disaster Plan. Much work has been done on this plan and the new funds should help further the Community’s Disaster Preparedness.
